14K solid yellow gold weight: 2.6 Grams

Condition: Excellent. Face and reverse are in near perfect shape, bail is in mint condition, under magnification you can see a fortifying repair at the top of the medal, where the bail passes through the medal, which will allow for many more happy years of wear for the next owner.
This vintage gold Miraculous medal comes to me for sale from the estate of a deeply devout catholic woman born in the 1930’s. The medal is hallmarked 14k and trademarked OB. I believe but can not confirm OB is the Trademark for Ostby & Barton Co. Mr. Englehart Ostby was one of the 1,500 people who perished in the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. His daughter Helene who traveled with him survived via life boat. She went on to run the company along with her brother through the 1950’s.
